COVID-19 and spiritual life: dealing with the stress and emotions of your family

Has the stress levels in your home increased due to covid?
 
There has likely been so many changes in schedules and routines and it’s affecting your kids, yourself and even your pets!
 
It is normal for us to have reactions under these abnormal events, like being anxious.
 
Spirituality can help you deal with the stress and anxiety.
 
Some key spiritual components and things to think about;
 
🌺What has helped you cope in the past?
 
🌺Come together as a family and discuss with each other and (if you have) kids about why things are different how you all can as a team help each other in this time.
 
🌺Engage in conversations around what had been troubling each one of you with a nonjudgmental and compassionate presence
 
🌺 Talk about some of the positives of being together
Kids are having a hard time being at home also and they look to you for calm behaviour. Self care and anchoring ourselves in our spiritual beliefs will help you to create a more meaningful experience and less stress environment for everyone.
 
Pets believe it or not are also having stress being at home they are so use to their owners being at work they too are feeling stuck not having time for themselves. Owners are around to invade in their personal space.
 
Be mindful of what those around you in your family may be going through.
 
A great way to do this is by starting spiritual practices that ground you, centre you and anchors you to that deep infinite harmonious place within.
